Born in small southern New Jersey town, JT grew up in a family that lived to serve their community; he was raised watching his mother as a REALTOR, his father in sales, his grandfather as proprietor of the town grocery and his uncle as the town pharmacist. Upon graduating Cum Laude from Drexel University in 1991, with a B.S. in Business Administration and dual majors, JT headed west. First landing in Milwaukee, WI; then Marin County, CA; and finally Lake Tahoe.

After serving as Portfolio Manager at Susquehanna Investment Group and Stark Investments, JT began serving his own international client base by founding and managing Marin Capital Partners. A $2.5 Billion multi-strategy hedge fund and one of the Bay Area’s largest and most profitable. With a successful 25+ year run of managing investor capital in the global securities markets, JT has built an expansive network of some of the industry’s most successful finance professionals in the Bay Area and around the world.

JT has lived around the North and West Shores of Lake Tahoe for more than a decade including Incline Village, Kings Beach, Northstar, Carnelian Bay, Tahoe City, Squaw Valley, Truckee River (CA 89), Tahoe City and Tahoma. Fitting with his outgoing and inquisitive nature, JT has become a part of the Lake Tahoe community; making deep social and professional connections while exploring the nuances, individuality, and beauty of each community. “It never ceases to amaze me how each small community around the Lake has its distinct vibe and culture,” says JT.
